“Switching On The Light” will be a day of learning and demonstration with four great photographers and educators.

Photography is simply painting with light, but so few photographers nowadays have mastered the art of “seeing the light” and they rely on Photoshop and other digital enhancements, to create a good image.

The day will also help you with your marketing, selling, lighting, posing, profiting, and generally everything you need to know to get your business rocking!


Peter Eastway is a Grand Master of Photography, a Fellow and an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, and a Fellow and Honorary Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography. He won the 1996 and 1998 AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year Award. He is a WPPI Master of Photography. Peter wil do an introduction on the theory of lighting – size, angle, lightshaper etc.

Bernie Griffiths From photographer to now an experienced photography Photography Business Coach,Bernie owned a highly successful wedding/portrait studio for many years. He has now done over 4,000 one hour Skype  consulting sessions with photographers in guiding and Mentoring them in all areas of Marketing, Selling, Website Design, Photography, and Pricing. Many of his clients have seen their photography businesses grow to record levels.

Veronica Sagredo has a passion and expertise in lighting her subjects that have made her studio Blueclick Photography one of the most sought after studios in the Cairns region.
